Acana Dog Food Customer Reviews

There are mixed reviews left by customers of Acana dog food. Just take a look below at what some people are saying about this food.

This is the absolute best dog food that you can get for your dog! After doing extensive research about Frenchies with food allergies, I learned that my own dogs allergies come from a yeast issue. I turned to this food in hopes it would help and my God, it certainly has. While it may seem expensive at first, you need to keep in mind that you will feed your dog less food so in the end it will even itself out. Do your own research and you will see for yourself. -Frances A. Avila, December 24th

My chihuahua mix has an extremely sensitive stomach and this is one food that he does amazing on. I also feed him the Grasslands formula and he does amazing on that formula as well. Couldn’t praise this food enough! -A. de la Mia, August 1st

I give this food five stars, hands down. This food is great and my dog loves it so much. -Garlic heart, January 3rd

This food has dramatically improved my dog’s life! My dog has been plagued by allergies her entire life. She was suffering and I could even tell her issues had caused her to become depressed. After doing a lot of research, I came across this dog food and decided to try it out for myself. Three months later and my dog has done a complete 360. She’s happy, playful and above all not suffering anymore. This food is definitely on the pricey side, but after seeing how much my dog has improved, it is worth every penny. -Pandorales, October 17th

  Final Opinion

In my honest opinion I believe that Acana is certainly a solid brand of dog food. It is packed with plenty of high quality protein sources, omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, carbohydrates and healthy fiber sources that will all be beneficial for your dog. However, its price may be too expensive for some pet owners out there which is a real downfall.

I would have no problem recommending this product to other pet owners and would have no problem feeding it to my own dogs.

Final Verdict:

Hi, thank you for your Acana dog food review!

I have a miniature Daschund who is really picky with her food – she’s the first dog I’ve ever met who doesn’t try to eat the bowl as well as her feed.

I’m willing to pay a little extra for the right pet food if it keeps her healthy and eating right, but you mentioned some controversial ingredients. In your experience, would this still be safe for a very fussy, small breed?

    Thanks again!
